For nearly thirty years, Allegheny Wood Works, Inc., has been helping homeowners and businesses throughout America re-discover the beauty, elegance, and craftsmanship of true solid wood doors. Much like a fine piece of hand-crafted furniture, Allegheny Wood Works solid wood doors are designed and manufactured to be an integral and unique part of your home décor. Allegheny Wood Works, Inc., was officially established in 1997 with the acquisition of the independent door division from Kahle’s Kitchens. Now approaching its third full decade in business with a second set of owners, Allegheny Wood Works operates multiple shifts from its 86,000-square-foot facility in Pennsylvania to meet the growing demand for solid wood doors throughout the country.

Meet The Team Behind Allegheny Wood Works

Allegheny Wood Works is owned and operated by Steve and Mike Kraus, who purchased the company from the original owners David Haag and James Steigerwald in January 2014 and have since grown the business into one of the largest solid wood door manufacturers in the United States. With decades of combined experience working in the industry between Steve and Mike, they are uniquely suited to help assist with the design and appropriate wood species choice for your interior or exterior doors. Their goal is to provide customers with competitive prices, fast turnaround times, and premium quality products they need to revitalize a historic home, enhance the aesthetics of a business, or truly craft their dream home.
