Due to their natural decay resistant attributes, we recommend using African Mahogany, Sapele Mahogany, Cypress, Spanish Cedar, or White Oak for your exterior doors. Other species listed are not as naturally resistant. While all exterior doors must be well sealed and protected, the less resistant species must get extra attention over the years.
