Wood Door and Window Casings

Allegheny Wood Works specializes in manufacturing solid wood doors for your home or business, but we also know that even the best doors need quality casings. Wood door casings, also referred to as trim or molding, provide both practicality and an added layer of elegance: they cover up the unsightly bits of construction or gaps in the wall around the perimeter of the door, and add a bit of style to enhance the design of the door itself. Similarly, window casings can do the same for the windows around your home.

While door and window casings seem to be minor and even insignificant, they can dramatically impact the entire look and feel of your home. Think about how many doors and windows there are in your home, and you’ll begin to realize how much of an effect the molding around them can have. It’s considered best practice to be consistent with the casing design throughout your home, so choosing the right design and material can greatly enhance the overall beauty of your home.

Our molding products are sold in random lengths from 4-ft. to 12-ft. lengths, unless specified otherwise. Certain wood species have length restrictions-please ask your salesperson.

All molding orders are sold based on the job, and are priced as such. In general, the larger the order, the cheaper the price per foot becomes.
