Baseboard moldings are used to cover the lower part of the wall where it meets the floor around the perimeter of a room. They offer functionality, covering up unsightly gaps between the wall and the floor, and protecting your walls from being scuffed up by nearby furniture. Baseboards can also add a layer of beauty and style to your home.

Hickory Baseboards

Hickory is a great specie option for baseboard moldings. It has a reddish brown color and is generally straight-grained, and looks beautiful with both clear and rustic applications. It is also one of the more durable species, with a high mark of 1880 on the Janka Hardness Scale making it a great choice if you think your baseboards may endure some wear and tear. Hickory baseboards, with the right upkeep, can last for decades.

Red Oak Baseboards

Red oak is another quality option for your baseboard moldings. One of the most widely used hardwoods in North America, it is used in everything from flooring to high end furniture to doors. And of course, it is an excellent option for baseboards. It is a gorgeous, straight-grained species that takes stain very well and can be finished to match your specific decor, and with a 1220 on the Janka Hardness Scale, is a great choice for a durable, long-lasting baseboard moldings.

White Oak Baseboards

White oak is another quality wood specie option for your baseboards. Its color varies, ranging from light tan or pale yellow brown to dark brown, and it finishes beautifully. With a high resistance to liquids, and a Janka Hardness Scale score of 1350, it is a very stable and durable option that is sure to last you a long time.

Our molding products are sold in random lengths from 4-ft. to 12-ft. lengths, unless specified otherwise. Certain wood species have length restrictions-please ask your salesperson.

All molding orders are sold based on the job, and are priced as such. In general, the larger the order, the cheaper the price per foot becomes.
